Ingredients

The Broth

  • Soup Bones
  • 1 L Beef Broth
  • 1 L Vegetable Broth

The Contents

  • 1 C Sausage
  • 1/2 C Bacon
  • 1 C Red/Yellow Pepper Diced
  • 1 C Ground Beef Cooked
  • 1 Can White Kidney Beans
  • 1/2 C Ham Cubed
  • 1 L Tomato Sauce Just tomatoes
  • 1-1/2 C Onions Diced
  • 1-1/2 C Carrots Shredded
  • 4 C Beets Shredded
  • 1 Can Diced Tomatoes Large
  • 4 tsp Garlic
  • 4 tsp Dill Fresh

Instructions

The Broth

  • Roast the bones in an oven at 400°F for 45m
  • Add the roasted bones to vegetable and beef broth.
  • Add random cuts, pieces, and other broth bits
  • Simmer for hours

The Contents

  • Cut everything up
  • Add it to the pot
  • Let it simmer for more hours
  • Add the canned tomatoes and fresh dill last.
  • It can always use more seasoning.
